WELCOME TO THE FAROE ISLANDS
Arrive in Tórshavn, the cozy capital of the Faroe Islands, where a spa hotel overlooking the city and sea sets the tone for your journey. From the dramatic cliffs of Sørvágsvatn to the storybook villages of Bøur and Gásadalur, each day reveals a new chapter of raw beauty and rich tradition.
Sail past towering sea stacks to reach puffin island (Mykines), hike to the remote Kalsoy Lighthouse, and venture out on boat tours along dramatic cliffs and crashing waves. Journey to Drangarnir and Tindhólmur, where jagged peaks rise straight from the sea, then wander black-sand beaches, cascading waterfalls, and hidden mountain villages like Saksun and Gjógv. Along the way, you’ll share farmhouse lunches, soak in folklore, and savor flavors passed down through generations.
This isn’t just a trip, it’s an extraordinary adventure where luxury meets wild landscapes,
community meets culture, and every detail is handled for you.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Tórshavn
Welcome to the Faroe Islands! After landing at Vágar Airport, travel through an undersea tunnel to Hotel Føroyar, a modern mountainside retreat with sweeping views of Tórshavn and Nólsoy. Unwind in the hotel’s spa, outdoor pools, and saunas before meeting your fellow travelers for a three course welcome dinner at Ruts. The perfect introduction to Faroese flavors and scenery!
Day 2: Trælanípan Hike & Charming Villages
Begin your adventure with a scenic hike to Trælanípan along Sørvágsvatn, where we will see the iconic "Lake over Ocean" view and dramatic cliffs that meet the open Atlantic. Enjoy a packed lunch on the hike, while learning about folklore and Faroese life from our local guide.
Continue to the postcard-perfect villages of Bøur and Gásadalur, home to the breathtaking Múlafossur waterfall for a photoshoot with our personal photographer.
Return to Tórshavn and enjoy the evening to wander the city, hang out with the group, or enjoy the spa.
Day 3: Mykines Island & Puffins
Travel by ferry to the wildlife haven of Mykines, passing striking sea stacks and coastal views. A local guide will hike with you through the island, across bridges, and to a lighthouse, which is home to thousands of puffin. You will enjoy a packed lunch at the lighthouse and learn about the rich history of the island. Then we will make our way back down to the charming grass-roofed village for homemade fish soup.
Return to the mainland and enjoy the evening in Tórshavn.
Day 4: Historic Kirkjubøur & Relaxation
Discover the medieval village of Kirkjubøur, the historical heart of the Faroe Islands. Explore ancient ruins, St. Magnus Cathedral site, and step into the 900-year-old Roykstovan Farmhouse where we will sit down for lunch with the local farmer, whose family has owned this farm for the last 17 generations.
Return to Tórshavn for a leisurely evening and group games.
Day 5: Kalsoy & Kallurin Lighthouse
Journey to Kalsoy, known for its dramatic cliffs and untamed beauty. Meet with a local guide and hear folklore stories as we embark on our hike to the remote Kallurin Lighthouse. This spot is a favorite among photographers for its sweeping green cliffs, fjord views, and will make you feel like you're walking in a storybook.
After our hiking adventure, we will visit Mikladalur to meet the legendary 'Seal Woman' statue and learn of her story.
We will then enjoy a warm meal at a cozy local café, and wander the surrounding villages.
Return to Tórshavn for a leisurely evening and group games.
Day 6: Drangarnir & Tindhólmur Sea Adventure
Head out for a day at sea, on a memorable boat tour to the world-famous Drangarnir sea stacks, rising sharply from the ocean. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the island, then cruise back to the mainland for an evening in Tórshavn.
Day 7: Streymoy & Eysturoy Wonders + Farewell Dinner
Explore the dramatic landscapes of Saksun, the black-sand beach of Tjørnuvík, and the towering Fossá waterfall, with views of the legendary sea giants Risin & Kellingin. Travel through mountain scenery to the idyllic village of Gjógv, where you’ll enjoy a hearty Faroese lunch and time to explore.
