Privacy Policy

Somewhere Devine Expeditions, LLC (“Somewhere Devine”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect data such as your name, address, phone number, email address, passport details, emergency contacts, medical or dietary notes when relevant, and payment information for the purpose of processing bookings and delivering services.

Your information may be shared with trusted third-party providers including airlines, hotels, ground operators, guides, insurance companies, and payment processors, but only as necessary to fulfill your expedition. Somewhere Devine does not sell personal information to third parties.

We retain personal data as long as necessary to comply with legal, tax, and business requirements. Participants may request access to or deletion of their information where applicable under law, including GDPR and CCPA. Our website uses cookies and tracking technologies for functionality, analytics, and marketing. Users may disable cookies in their browser; however, site performance may be affected.

Terms & Conditions

By booking an expedition or using our website, you enter into a binding agreement with Somewhere Devine Expeditions, LLC, a Utah limited liability company headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to book an expedition. Minors may participate only if accompanied by a parent or guardian on a one-to-one basis.

Itinerary & Pricing: All itineraries, accommodations, and activities are subject to change based on weather, safety considerations, government regulations, supplier availability, or unforeseen events. Prices are not guaranteed until final payment is received.

Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Utah, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Intellectual Property: All content, itineraries, photographs, and materials provided on this website or during an expedition are the property of Somewhere Devine Expeditions and may not be reproduced or used without express written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties: All services are provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or guarantee of results.

Payment & Refund Policy

Deposits and Payment Schedule: Deposits are non-refundable. Remaining balances must be paid in accordance with the schedule provided at booking. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in cancellation without refund.

Denied applications are fully refundable.

Non-Refundable Payments: Upon acceptance into an expedition, all payments, including deposits and installments, are non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

Credit Card Authorization: By providing your credit card details, you authorize Somewhere Devine Expeditions to charge your card for deposits, balances, and any agreed add-ons.

Chargebacks: By booking, you agree not to initiate chargebacks for any reason inconsistent with this policy. Disputes must be addressed directly with Somewhere Devine Expeditions. Unauthorized chargebacks will be treated as breach of contract, and you will be responsible for associated costs, fees, and attorney expenses.

Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, injury, death, property damage, delays, or financial loss due to travel, outdoor activities, environmental conditions, political instability, or third-party services.

By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that you are physically and mentally capable of participating. You assume full responsibility for your health, safety, and belongings throughout the expedition. You also agree to bear all costs related to medical treatment, evacuation, or emergency services should the need arise.

Somewhere Devine acts only as an intermediary between participants and third-party providers (airlines, hotels, transport services, local guides). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, or defaults of such third parties.

You hereby release and hold harmless Somewhere Devine Expeditions, its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and successors from any claims or liabilities, including negligence, arising from participation. You also agree to indemnify and defend Somewhere Devine against claims caused by your actions, negligence, or breach of agreement.

Force Majeure

Somewhere Devine Expeditions shall not be liable or responsible for cancellations, delays, or losses due to acts of God, weather, pandemics, strikes, terrorism, war, political unrest, airline disruptions, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, standard cancellation policies apply and refunds are not guaranteed.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical treatment, evacuation, trip cancellation, accidents, and lost luggage. Proof of insurance may be required prior to departure. Somewhere Devine Expeditions is not responsible for medical costs or emergency services.

Code of Conduct

Participants must comply with all laws of the host country, as well as expedition rules and leader instructions. Possession or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, or prohibited substances is not allowed. Disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior may result in immediate removal from the expedition at the participant’s expense, with no refund.

Media Release

By participating in an expedition, you grant Somewhere Devine Expeditions a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display photographs, video, or other media capturing your likeness for promotional, marketing, or business purposes. You waive any right to compensation or approval of such use.
