Giraffe Manor | Nairobi, Kenya | Somewhere Devine
I’m still pinching myself that we actually got to stay at the Giraffe Manor in Kenya! It was even better than I dreamed it would be. I felt like a little kid at Disneyland. Who am I kidding, I felt like myself at Disneyland. Haha! I’m sure you can tell from the video just how excited I was.
We showed up and it felt like we were in stepping into some old Jane Austen film!? The manor itself was unbelievably gorgeous. They have the sweetest staff in the world. The giraffes were just the cherry on top! Brad and I felt so out of place being surrounded by so many ritzy people. 😉 We were seriously a couple of giddy kids running around with a camera! Normally we wouldn’t spend the money to stay here, but we had the perfect excuse because I’m launching my ADVENTURE JOURNALS soon (EEK!), and it was the most PERFECT location that I just couldn’t resist to shoot there. We were already in Kenya, so why not, right!?
It was honestly a dream come true, I just wanted to cry the whole time. Thank you so much for your support and kind comments about the Adventure Journal! It means so much to me. Absolutely incredible! So dreamy! I would be speachless too! I am surprized your husband didn’t say Gobsmacked. Isn’t that a British word ? Doesn’t it mean like when something is so amazing that it leaves you speachless. Looking forward to your journals. I too find myself forgetting details of my trips and then by the time I get back to the hotel or home from the trip I have forgotten details of the day. Would love a product that was light that didn’t take a tone of luggage space. Good luck!
