Oh so BLESSED!

Today was a special day, our little Greta Jade was blessed! She wore the same dress that I wore for my blessing as a baby. Can you believe my Mom saved it after all these years!? I plan on all of our girls wearing this dress. 🙂 I was just looking at pictures from when Lucy wore it for her blessing, and thinking that time is such a thief. This sweet baby stage goes by way too fast. People always told me that, but I never actually believed them until now. It makes me want to really relish every moment, and be one hundred percent present, because I can already feel the ‘baby-hood’ days slipping from my fingertips.

The time came for Greta’s blessing at our church, and we were biting our fingernails because most of our family got lost finding their way! Ah! I thought they were going to miss it, but they made it JUST in time. Brad gave Greta the most beautiful blessing, and she was as content as can be during it. It was so special — I want to remember seeing both of our Dad’s all teary-eyed. 🙂 After the blessing, we hosted our families at our house for brunch. 🙂 Everyone took turns holding Greta, and she fell asleep sitting up in my arms during all the commotion! She is such a little angel baby….. So far. 😉 You are so loved, little girl!
