A day at Disney is a day well spent – Amirite!? We spent the day with Brad’s sister Natalie, our brother in law Tyson, and their little girls. It’s so fun to travel with these guys, because they have two girls that are literally the EXACT same age as ours! It gave me a taste of what having two sets of twins would feel like, when we took turns riding the bigger rides. I have major props for you parents out there with twins and triplets! Brad and I both had tiny babies in our arms, while chasing Lucy and Rosie around – haha – it was nuts. We’re traveling to Iceland and England with these guys this spring, and its going to be a wild adventure with all of these little kids! I can’t wait. 🙂
It rained the whole time we were in California, except for our day at Disneyland! It was like the Sun Gods knew we were going that day – ha! We seriously lucked out. The first ride we rode was Peter Pan’s Flight, and as we stood in line we joked around with one of the workers, just having a good time. 🙂 When the ride was over, that worker smiled at us as we were about to get off, and asked Lucy “Do you want to go again!?” – I thought she was just joking around, when she pushed the lap bar back down and sent us through again! We were like “WHAAAAT!” – Best day ever! Brad and I looked at each other in disbelief! When does that EVER happen!? Especially on a ride with such a long line. I was holding back my tears because that was seriously the kindest gesture, and that ride is just so nostalgic to me.
We rode Toad’s Wild Ride (per Tyson’s request) and laughed our heads off. I’m convinced that it’s the world’s most random attraction. You end up in hell at the end!? Hahaha! Seeing Brad’s reaction to it was the best. SO weirded out. And Lucy oddly liked it!? We also took Natalie on Matterhorn for the first time, and I about wet myself laughing so hard. I made her sit in the front and forgot that it splashes in water at the end! She was like, “You’re dead to me!” – hahah! It was such a funny day. I think that’s why I love Disneyland so much. It’s just so carefree and I laugh all day long.
We didn’t end up getting season passes, because we are hoping to go to some different Disney parks this year! Like Tokyo Disney. 🙂 It’s going to be so fun! Lucy is already telling everyone that she’s going to “Disneyland in Japan”.

I was at Disneyland the day before you guys and it was freezing and raining! I was only in LA for 24 hours after coming back from Ecuador and I just had to go! My sisters thought I was crazy but they ended up calling in “sick” and came with me. Ha ha. The the next day I came back home to a snowy Utah but oh how I missed the snow.

We got back from living just outside Tokyo for a year summer and did Tokyo Disneyland a couple times. Be careful about what day you go because the crowds there are insane! I’ve never seen anything like it.
When it comes to Disneyland you guys are the most hardcore… we were just happy to be apart of it. Love you

I don’t follow any other blogs except yours, and I realized there’s a reason why… No other blog I have ever (tried) to follow is as fun, REAL, and wholesome. I always walk away from yours feeling uplifted and positive rather than inadequate and a little discouraged, which seems to be the trend nowadays (I don’t have enough cute clothes, or a perfectly designed house, or the money for either! Etc.). You guys are the first to admit you’re not perfect (even though I think you are!) and try to be the best you can be. It makes me want to be a better person. It’s refreshing to see people with standards living a happy life in a crazy world. Thank you for sharing your adorable family with us all! Xoxo
