Which camera’s to pack on vacation

When I travel, I enjoy bringing along a variety of different cameras. I primarily shoot on my Canon 5D mark iii, and pack two lenses for variety: 50mm f1.2, 70-200mm f2.8, or 17-40mm f4.0. BUT this Instax Mini is my favorite at the moment… There is just something about having an instant tangible photo in your pocket… I’m excited to paste these little beauties all over our fridge! Steindalfossen was the first waterfall we visited in Norway. It was cold, but absolutely beautiful! Brad and I had a hayday shooting here. I’m so happy we have this similar interest, because neither of us get annoyed with how much time we take at one place to shoot. We really enjoy showing off shots to each other from the back of the camera. I have a funny childhood memory at this waterfall from when I was five: I remember running to follow my older brother down the steep grassy hill and completely biffing it! Like, head over heels multiple times. All of my cousins have these cute pictures of them sitting in the dandelions at the bottom of these falls, and I’ll never forget why I didn’t get a picture. I was standing on the sidelines sobbing – Hahaha! Oh the life of being the youngest child.

All photos and video shot with the Canon Tilt Shift Lens.

My Family and I went to Norway last summer and I loved this waterfall – I even have some Instax minis to prove it 😉

I love my instanx mini too! Do you have any tip for shooting with instant film? Lots of my photos turn out too light or too dark and I'm not sure why…

The instant prints are the perfect size to pop in a book/diary/travel wallet and find later to remind you of a trip or memory. Like perfectly placed lost treasures for future you to discover!
