That's funny.
The same thing happened to me in grade 2. Only when I said, "A mom!" my teacher responded with, "How about a lawyer? Or a doctor?" I said back, a bit confused, "How about a mom?"
It is the greatest gift ever! I hope you are feeling well… if not, saltines and super cold apple juice worked for me. And pickled ginger. I would just go to sushi places and ask for their pickled ginger. They were more than happy to oblige.
