A Party in Paris

My cute little niece Nina turned 8, so my sister Heather planned a Paris party to celebrate! She asked Brad and I to dress up in some of our past Halloween costumes for a surprise guest appearance, and of course we accepted. You know us, we’ll take any excuse to get in costumes! We snuck in the front door as the kids were in the basement. I stood in the family room ready for my act, as Brad slipped into the pantry. <— What a good sport! The girls came upstairs, and the look on Nina’s face when we locked eye contact was priceless. I had such a hard time not busting up laughing! My short performance was basically made up on the spot, but I think the little ones enjoyed it. They went around showing their best Mime impressions after. πŸ™‚ Then came my favorite part of the party, when Brad bursted out of the pantry with a Mrs. Doubtfire voice:
“Bonjour!”
But can you believe all the work Heather put into this party? Look at that mural the size of her wall! And how cute is that birthday cake made of crepes!? Talent I tell ya, Talent.
